I am inspired by [Of Two Lands](https://www.oftwolands.com/) and his approach to travel and documentary filmography. While I would love to get deeper into topics and do research, etc I don't have the time. But [[Filming]] needs planning. So what does this mean practically? * **Carry cameras.** I normally carry a walkabout camera but perhaps I should permanently keep my camera bag in the car. Is that a good idea? Maybe I don't need the bag but just a Wandrd Camera Cube. I prefer the former option since I have my EDC (Peak Design) with me. * Keep the things you use easily available. Know where they are. There's a lot of stuff to think about. One of the things I need to do with my music/photo/video studio is to make sure I always know where the important things are. Make sure things are easy to find. That should be a focus. * **[[Planning]].** The one thing I never do is plan. * Start by shooting handheld. Only go to a gimbal if ABSOLUTELY necessary.
