# My Coffee Gear
My home espresso setup. The machine is a **[[Lelit Elizabeth]]** (model PL92T) — Lelit's dual-boiler machine that punches well above its price, bringing true dual-boiler capability (simultaneous brewing and steaming) into the prosumer entry tier, which is usually the domain of single-boiler or heat-exchanger machines. See that note for full specs and maintenance.
## Why It's a Standout
- **Dual boiler** — separate brew and steam boilers, so you can pull a shot and steam milk at the same time, each at its own optimal temperature. Rare at this price point.
- **PID temperature control** — precise, stable brew temperature with an adjustable setpoint.
- **Pre-infusion** — programmable pre-infusion gently saturates the puck before full pressure, improving extraction evenness.
- **Programmable shot volumes** and a shot timer built into the display.
- Compact footprint for a dual boiler.
## My Setup Notes
- **Grinder:** Eureka Mignon Specialita, converted to a single-dosing workflow — single-dose hopper, bellows (blows out retained grounds between doses), and a dosing cup holder.
- **Scale:** Acaia Lunar (flat espresso scale, sits on the drip tray for shot-time + weight).
- **Baskets & portafilter:** switch between 18 g and 20 g baskets; usually a bottomless (naked) portafilter.
- **Recipe style:** ristretto — tighter ratio, shorter yield than a standard 1:2.
- **Dial-in / dose / yield:** *(record actual grind setting, dose, yield, and shot time here as I dial in each coffee)*
- **Preferred beans:** Misto subscription (rotating roasters/blends).
- **Pre-infusion settings:** *(note the programmed pre-infusion time here once set)*
- **Notes & tweaks:**
