Audioengine A2+ for background/casual (Bluetooth for now; wired later via SP3000M 3.5mm line out → RCA). * **Bedside:** SP3000M → Woo Audio WA7 Fireflies (tube DAC/amp) → Hifiman Arya Stealth. Best paired as a digital transport (USB, bit-perfect into the WA7's DAC) rather than feeding the WA7's analog input. * **Portable:** SP3000M standalone as a DAP. Note: use **low gain** on the Magni with the easy-to-drive Clear MG — better pot range and lower noise floor. # Headphones * **Bedside headphone**: Hifiman Arya Stealth Magnets - Spacious, airy, analytical * **Work Headphone:** Focal Clear MG - Punchy, intimate, physical * **Warm Closed-Back Reference:** Meze Audio Strada - closed-back 50mm dynamic (109 Pro driver in a Liric chassis), warm/full-bodied with a wide soundstage. Fills the warm-complement-to-the-Arya slot; easy to drive off the Magni or WA7. Bought Sep 2026 (Roon Store sale bundled a free year of Roon). * **Walkabout Over Ear:** Focal Azurys * **Noise Canceling Closed Back:** Focal Bathys - Use for flights # IEM * Truthear Pure * Hidizs MP145 * Hisenior Mega5-EST * Airpod Pro3 # Sources/DACs * FIIO QX13 - Audiophile class * FIIO KA13 - Smaller and more portable * DragonFly Cobalt * iFi Go Blu # Work Amp/Speakers * **Schiit Magni** - desk headphone amp for the Clear MG (use low gain) * **Audioengine A2+** - desktop speakers, background/casual listening (Bluetooth for now, wired later) ## Interesting Upgrade or Alternation Options * ZMF Atrium is a good warm option for my home setup and compliments the Arya nicely — though the Meze Strada (bought Sep 2026) now fills this warm-complement slot, closed-back ## Retired * Naim Unity Headphone Edition
